This is achieved through the phenomena of muscle memory, and it is not just restricted to muscle mass; this phenomenon may be applied to any other physical training that you perform. Muscle, made up of cells called myocytes, is a contractile tissue whose function is to produce movement or locomotion and is organized in a regular pattern to produce a force through contraction. We obviously don't have brains in our limbs, so we can't recall things in our arms and legs, so how is that done? What exactly is the purpose of muscle memory?
